Former First Lady Dr Jill Biden shared a sweet selfie from Super Bowl LIX after her beloved Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs, whom President Donald Trump predicted would win, 40-22.
Biden – who reportedly scolded Trump with a five-word remark at the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris – is known to be a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles! As the First Lady, she has shown her support for the team, and she often celebrates their successes. She attended the Eagles’ Super Bowl LII victory in 2018, showing her enthusiasm for the team.
And while Trump used the aftermath of the game to go on a string of rants online, the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl claimed the sport had been “ruined” after making a brutal dig at Taylor Swift, Biden took a different route.
Posting on X, Biden – wearing an Eagles scarf – uploaded a picture alongside her grandson, Hunter Biden, the son of the late Beau Biden, with the caption “E-A-G-L-E-S!!!”

Trump, meanwhile, despite becoming the first sitting president to attend the NFL’s season-finale showpiece with his appearance at Caesars Superdome on Sunday, appears to have left the game before the final whistle.
While Kansas City’s disappointing performance is probably not the only reason for Trump’s early departure, it likely had some influence, especially since the 47th US president had been backing Andy Reid’s team ahead of the game.
However, it seems he left the venue early, just before the final period of play, with Nikki Schwab of the Daily Mail writing on X: “Trump has left the Super Bowl, per pooler @svdate. In fairness, Dr. Biden also left the @Phillies World Series early, during that no-hitter game against the @astros.”
Shortly after his alleged exit, Trump posted about pennies on Truth Social. He wrote: “For far too long the United States has minted pennies which literally cost us more than 2 cents. This is so wasteful!”
“I have instructed my Secretary of the US Treasury to stop producing new pennies. Let’s rip the waste out of our great nations budget, even if it’s a penny at a time.”
