The auction event occurs concurrently with Diddy’s ongoing criminal trial in New York City, where he faces allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering.

According to a recent report from TMZ, Diddy’s prison costume from his performance in the 2001 film, Monster’s Ball, has been auctioned off for an impressive $24,510. This outfit includes a gray hoodie, a pair of jeans with one leg cut off, and black shoes. The costume attracted a total of 49 bids before the final sale was concluded. Accompanying the outfit is a production costumer’s tag that details the components of the costume and the scenes in which they were featured.

Monster’s Ball, directed by Marc Forster, featured a cast that included Billy Bob Thornton, Heath Ledger, Halle Berry, and Peter Boyle. Additionally, Diddy was not the sole hip-hop artist in the film, as Mos Def also had a supporting role.

The timing of the outfit’s sale is significant, given that the Bad Boy mogul has been incarcerated since last year following his arrest on charges related to alleged sex trafficking and racketeering. His trial commenced last month and has been a focal point in the news. In total, he is facing one count of racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking through force, fraud, or coercion, and two counts of transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.

Numerous high-profile individuals have taken the stand as witnesses, including Cassie, who shared her experiences of enduring years of alleged abuse at the hands of Diddy. Other witnesses included former Danity Kane singer Dawn Richard, Kid Cudi, and several others who also provided testimony.
